Charity Hallmark is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Centralized Lending Officer II at Legacy Community Federal Credit Union since May 2022. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Avadian Credit Union from April 2001 to May 2022, where roles included Consumer/Indirect Loan Processing Supervisor and Loan Officer. Charity is pursuing an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration and Management at Jefferson State Community College, expected to be completed in May 2024, and previously attended James H Faulkner State Community College. Charity graduated from Theodore High School in 1999 with an Advanced High School Diploma in General Studies.
Legacy Community Federal Credit Union
Legacy opened its doors as University Credit Union in 1955 to serve the UAB community. After serving the education and healthcare industries for more than 50 years, the credit union expanded its field of membership to include the 7-county Greater Birmingham Metropolitan Area and changed its name to Legacy Community Federal Credit Union at the beginning of 2006. Now anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, St. Clair, Walker, Chilton, and Bibb counties is eligible for membership.
