Pathik Desai

Pathik Desai has extensive work experience in the medical field. Pathik started their career as a Family Medicine Resident at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2016 and completed their residency in June 2019. After that, they joined Mercy as a Staff Physician in February 2020 and worked until June 2021. In August 2020, they joined Legacy Community Health as a Staff Physician and later got promoted to Clinic Medical Director in October 2022. In February 2021, they also worked as a Staff Physician at CareNow.

Pathik Desai completed their Family Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Clinical Medicine from the Medical University of Lublin in 2011. In 2016, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Davenport University. Earlier, in 2006, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biophysical & Biochemical Sciences from the University of Houston.

In addition to their educational background, Pathik Desai has obtained various certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, Board of Certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
