Alexis Smithers

Alexis Smithers is the Medical Staff Urgent Care Section Chair at Legacy Health and the Founder and Director of the Advanced Practice Urgent Care Residency Program. Previously, Alexis has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Express Clinic, NWI Urgent Care, and Saint Anthony Hospital. Alexis was also a NICU II RN at Saint Anthony Hospital. Alexis has experience as a Fellow at The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and holds a Masters of Nursing, Post-MSN FNP Certification, MBA, and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
