Jay Kothari

Jay Kothari is a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist currently serving at Grand River Hospital since September 2022. Alongside this role, Kothari has been an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Legacy Health since August 2016. Kothari completed a Child PRITE Fellowship at the American College of Psychiatrists from November 2014 to July 2016, after a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Banner - University Medical Center from July 2014 to June 2016. Prior experience includes residency training at Yale University School of Medicine and Georgia Health Sciences University, specializing in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. Educational background includes an MD in Medicine from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and additional studies at Northeastern University and Wilson College.
