Lori Hokomoto

Lori Hokomoto is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in data engineering and governance, currently serving as Senior Manager at Legacy Health since 2010. Key accomplishments include the development of the organization’s first data ethics guidelines, successful implementation of a data governance program, and the establishment of a data catalog using Microsoft Purview. Lori also has a background in business intelligence, having transformed reporting teams into robust data governance entities, and has demonstrated strong leadership by achieving a 100% certification rate for data engineers. Prior experience includes roles in IT operations management, BI consultancy, and data integration, with a notable history of service as a Captain in the US Army. Lori holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Corporate Finance from Drake University and a Master's degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.
