Salome Waithaka

Salome Waithaka, MBA, MT(ASCP), is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in laboratory management and medical technology. Currently serving as Laboratory Operations Manager at Legacy Health since December 2013, Salome has held various roles including Interim Lab Manager, Laboratory Supervisor, and Lead Medical Technologist in the Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation Department. Prior experience includes a position as a Medical Technologist at Oregon Health & Science University from January 2013 to December 2013. Salome holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Oregon Health & Science University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from United States International University - Africa.
