T Clay Jones

T Clay Jones has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over several years. T Clay currently holds the role of Chief People Officer at Legacy Hospice since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at ERH Healthcare from June 2015 to July 2023.

Before joining ERH Healthcare, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at ERH Healthcare, LLC Hospital Mgmt Group from June 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing multiple rural hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics within the Georgia market.

From December 2012 to June 2015, they served as the Regional Director, HR at Phoebe Putney Health System. Before that, they were the Director, HR, Hospital & Clinics at Medlink Management Services, Inc. from March 2011 to December 2012.

Prior to transitioning into the healthcare industry, they worked at UAB Medicine as the Personnel Generalist Director from April 2006 to February 2011. T Clay also has prior experience in the finance and retail sectors, having served as AVP, Retail Banking Operations at Wells Fargo from September 2001 to March 2006, and as a Support Manager and Management Intern at Walmart from March 1996 to May 2001.

T Clay Jones has a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with dual majors in Finance and Marketing, from Freed-Hardeman University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001.

In addition to their degrees, T Clay Jones has obtained several certifications. T Clay became a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in February 2021 from SHRM. In January 2019, they received a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the IISE Manufacturing and Design Division. Other certifications include DNV Internal Auditor - Healthcare from DNV GL in January 2015, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from IEEE in January 2015, Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in January 2014, and Professional of Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2010.
