Galina Khunis

Galina Khunis is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as the Sr. Accounting Manager at Legal Aid at Work since October 2017, Galina oversees the organization’s accounting systems, ensures data integrity, and manages budgeting for various grants. Previously, Galina held roles at GLIDE FOUNDATION as a Sr. Accountant/Financial Consultant, where management of billing and invoicing for government projects was key, and at Congregation Emanu-El, where responsibilities included financial statement analysis and process improvement. Beginning a career in accounting, Galina progressed through various roles from Accounting Assistant to Accounts Receivables Specialist at Congregation Emanu-El, and earlier as a Post-Closing Loan Coordinator at Transnational Financial Network Inc. Galina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from San Francisco State University.
