Currently serving as Communication Manager at Legal Aid BC since July 2023, Shannon previously held the role of Senior Communications Specialist for Transit Projects at the City of Vancouver from June 2021 to July 2023. Shannon's career includes pivotal positions at the Ministry of the Attorney General, where responsibilities encompassed internal communications and stakeholder relations, and at the Independent Investigations Office of BC, focusing on media coordination and public engagement. Early career experiences include roles at C K W X-News1130 and CKNW News Talk 980, where skills were honed in reporting and digital content management. Shannon holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, earned between 2012 and 2014.
