Michael Patrick Bourke is an experienced solicitor currently serving at the Farrelly Commission since December 2022. In addition to this role, Michael is actively involved as a Board Member and Chair of the Appeals Committee at the Legal Aid Board since November 2021, and has been Chair of Cheshire Ireland since March 2021. Michael's previous positions include Solicitor at ESB (January 2016 - June 2020), Consulting Solicitor at Ferrys Solicitors (October 2014 - December 2015), and Chief Legal Adviser at the Constitutional Court of Kosovo (January 2010 - September 2012). Additional roles include serving as a Facilitation Support Advisor for the Office of the European Special Representative in Kosovo and as Chief of the General Legal Division for UNRWA, among other legal positions since 2000. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from The Open University and degrees in Law from the Law Society of Ireland and University College Cork.
