Alexis Stewart

Alexis Stewart is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Nevada State University since May 2023 and as a Children's Attorney at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada since February 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Mediation Specialist at the Family Mediation Center from August 2015 to February 2018, as an Assistant State Public Defender from March 2009 to August 2015 with the WI State Public Defender, and as a Legal Content Intern at Thomson West from August 2007 to May 2008. Additionally, Alexis served as a Summer Law Clerk at the Ramsey County Attorney's Office in the summer of 2007. Education was completed at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where a Juris Doctorate was earned from 2005 to 2008.
