Jennie Albarado

Jennie Albarado is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience in child protection and criminal law. Currently serving as a Children’s Attorney at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada since May 2021, Jennie has previously held positions such as Assistant Criminal District Attorney, CPS Chief at the Gregg County Criminal District Attorney's office (January 2019 - May 2021) and Assistant Criminal District Attorney, CPS Prosecutor (June 2018 - January 2019). Earlier roles include Assistant County and District Attorney at Rusk County (June 2015 - June 2018), where Jennie managed the Child Protective Services docket, and experience as a Student Attorney at Caprock Regional Public Defenders Office (August 2013 - May 2014) and Legal Extern at Innocence Project of Texas (May 2012 - August 2012). Jennie holds a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University.
