Leslie Murdock

Educational Advocate/surrogate Parent Coordinator at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada

Leslie Murdock is an experienced educational advocate and coordinator currently serving at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada since May 2010. With a strong background in education and law, Leslie has previously held positions such as Treasurer on the Board of Directors at the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada and Coordinator at Kids Court School. Educationally, Leslie earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology and a Juris Doctorate (Law) from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Special Education from Columbia University. Additional teaching experience includes positions at the Jewish Day School and the New York Public School System, along with a prior role as Director of Education at the Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center.
