Children’s Attorney at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada

Yolanda M. has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Children's Attorney at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada since April 2020, advocating for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Concurrently, Yolanda M. fulfills a role as a Judge Advocate in the US Air Force Reserve, providing part-time military legal service. Previous experience includes serving for nearly a decade in the United States Air Force, where Yolanda M. held positions as Appellate Defense Counsel, Trial Defense Counsel, and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate & Prosecutor. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Professional Military Education from Air University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
