Silvia R. Argueta

Silvia Argueta is the Executive Director of Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles since October 2008. Prior to this, Silvia worked as a Staff Attorney at MALDEF from June 1997 to June 1999 and at ACLU of Southern California from September 1991 to May 1997. Silvia holds a J.D. in Law from University of California, College of Law, San Francisco and a B.A. in Political Science and French from UCLA. As the Executive Director, Silvia oversees strategy, advocacy, fund development, and finances of the organization.
