Emily Lopynski

Emily Lopynski is a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Justice Center, where responsibilities include representing clients before immigration courts and co-directing an immigration litigation clinic at George Mason University. Previous experience encompasses a Law Clerk position at the Court of Appeals of Virginia, and a Law Clerk role at the Arlington County Circuit Court, focusing on appellate arguments, case summaries, and legal research. Emily has contributed significantly to various legal clinics and outreach programs, including founding the Immigration Legal Assistance Program at Ciudad Nueva Community Outreach. Emily holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Justice and Inequality Studies from William & Mary.
