Philip Fakondor

Philip Fakondor is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Assistant Controller at the Legal Aid Justice Center since February 2023, focusing on accounting operations, billing of grants, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and donor requirements. Previously, Philip held positions such as Assistant Controller and Senior Staff Accountant at WB Waste Solutions, LLC, where responsibilities included managing general ledger accounts and financial reconciliations. Early career experiences include roles as Staff Accountant at IIPL USA, LLC, Accountant at Sierra Leone Water Company, and Banking Supervision at Sierra Leone Commercial Bank. Philip holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of the People and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sierra Leone, along with a Bachelor of Applied Accounting from IPAM-Sierra Leone.
