Nancy Melrose has extensive work experience in project management and technology roles. Nancy began their career at KPMG in 1984, where they worked as a Forensic Macintosh Coordinator, providing computer assistance and support for the Forensic Accounting and Investigation practice. Nancy also acted as a Consultant/Support Specialist, providing software training and technical support for office users.

In 1991, Nancy transitioned to the role of Programmer Analyst in the Macintosh Consulting Services group, where they worked on system design and development projects. Nancy acted as a liaison between clients/users and programmers, and provided documentation, testing, and training support.

From 1993 to 1995, Nancy served as a Specialist in the Business Systems and Technologies practice at KPMG, where they participated in a Business Process Reengineering engagement and supported various systems. Nancy also worked on Telecom Consulting projects.

In 1995, Nancy took on the role of User Support Analyst/Technology Support Coordinator, managing and supporting day-to-day operations of office infrastructure and fulfilling user requests. Nancy coordinated and escalated hardware/software problems for effective resolution.

Nancy joined Legal Aid Ontario in 2010 as a Project Manager. Nancy was responsible for planning and managing technology projects, utilizing standard methodology and best practices. Nancy successfully managed PeopleSoft custom development initiatives and navigated the team through the Application Development Lifecycle process.

In 2016, Nancy was promoted to Manager, Facilities and Leasing at Legal Aid Ontario, where they oversaw facilities management and leasing activities.

In 2018, Nancy took on their current role as Business Manager, IT at Legal Aid Ontario. The details of this role are not provided.

Nancy Melrose has a diverse education history. In 1982 to 1984, they attended Centennial College, where they obtained a degree in Business/Computer Programming. In 2000, Nancy attended Bates Project Management to study Project Management. Nancy furthered their education in 2002 at MICA, focusing on "Getting Results without Authority." In 2008, Nancy attended the Schulich School of Business at York University to study "Juggling Multiple Projects." In terms of certifications, Nancy obtained their ITIL v3 Foundation Certification from Global Knowledge in April 2014. Nancy also pursued a PMP certification but the details regarding its completion are not provided.
