Katie Bennett

Katie Bennett is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in mediation and legal advocacy within the child welfare and family law sectors. Currently serving as Lead Mediator and Collaborative Practitioner at Family Mediation Hawaii since January 2018, Katie also provides mediation services for the Family Court Paternity calendar and families involved in the child welfare system. Additionally, Katie has been representing children's best interests as a Guardian Ad Litem with the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii since 2005. With a strong academic background, including a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and a Master of Social Work, Katie has held various roles in legal education as well as mediation training, contributing significantly to the field through teaching and training initiatives.
