Lisa Nguyen

Lisa Nguyen is currently a Legal Volunteer at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, Inc., and has served as a Marketing Assistant and Proofreader at UCLA Extension since September 2022. Nguyen has a robust background in leadership and communication, evident from the role of Committee Chair for Model United Nations at UCLA, where responsibilities included designing committees, training peers, and facilitating debates. Additionally, involvement as a UCLA Student Ambassador for the University of California Washington Program included marketing efforts for study abroad initiatives. Previous internships, including a role with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, involved advising on program management and conducting literature reviews. Nguyen's community engagement included serving as a Youth Representative on the San Diego Area Planning Committee, where contributions aided in advocating for significant infrastructure projects. Nguyen is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government with a minor in History at UCLA, expected to graduate in 2024.
