Amy Marinacci is an Attorney and Social Security Specialist at Legal Council for Health Justice since July 2021. Prior to this, Amy worked at Legal Aid Chicago from March 2006 to June 2021, holding positions as Supervisory Attorney and Staff Attorney. Amy also has experience as a Policy Advocate at California Food Policy Advocates from November 2000 to June 2002, and as a Legal Advocate and Program Coordinator at General Assistance Advocacy Project from August 1998 to November 2000. Amy obtained a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2005, following their undergraduate degree from Williams College in 1998.

In 2015 we changed our name from AIDS Legal Council of Chicago to LEGAL COUNCIL FOR HEALTH JUSTICE.
