Meghan Carter is currently working as a Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Council for Health Justice, where Meghan shapes health law and policy on access to health care. The agency, which merged three of the nation’s leading medical-legal partnership (MLP) programs to build a Midwestern hub of medical-legal program and policy development, is renowned for its expertise across complex intersections of disability benefits, health care services, education, employment, and other publicly-funded supports at the federal, state, and local levels. In 2015 we changed our name from AIDS Legal Council of Chicago to LEGAL COUNCIL FOR HEALTH JUSTICE.
