Ben Hoerlein

Ben Hoerlein, FSA, MAAA, currently serves as a Senior Assistant Actuary at Legal & General America since January 2024. Prior experience includes various actuarial roles at Protective Life from January 2019 to December 2023, and an Actuarial Assistant position at ProAssurance in 2018. Academic contributions include teaching mathematics as a TA at Georgia Southern University and conducting research in stochastic finance while at Florida Institute of Technology. Ben earned a Master's of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology. Additionally, Ben's early career included an internship at Ameriprise Financial Services and a senior lifeguard position in Auburn, AL.
