Harmen van Den Hondel

Harmen van den Hondel has extensive experience in finance and investment, currently serving in Mortgage Investments & Portfolio Management at Legal & General since July 2023. Prior roles include Portfolio Acquisition & Asset Management at ARA Venn from February 2021 to July 2023, and Financial Services Interim Management in London from August 2019 to January 2021. A sabbatical was taken at Wellbeing & Co from June 2018 to May 2019 for personal pursuits. Harmen held various leadership positions at NatWest Markets, including Managing Director for FI Origination & Solutions in the Nordics & Netherlands from January 2016 to December 2017, and multiple roles at The Royal Bank of Scotland in Asset Backed Finance. Earlier career stages included Associate Director in Benelux Debt Capital Markets at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Senior Lawyer at NautaDutilh, advising on complex financial and legal matters.
