Matthew Gardiner

Matthew Gardiner has extensive experience in the financial services and legal sectors, currently serving as the Head of Conduct Risk Monitoring and Head of Policy, Reporting & Oversight at Legal & General since May 2018. Previously, Matthew held the position of Regulatory Risk Consultant at Legal & General, and served as a Manager at PwC from September 2014 to May 2018. Matthew’s early career includes roles at the Financial Conduct Authority, where responsibilities included Associate positions in the Retail General Insurance Thematic Team and Legal Enforcement, and a Supervisory role in the Supervision Team. Additionally, Matthew began professional experience as a paralegal at DWF in 2010. Academic credentials include a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Queen Mary University of London.
