Jessica Mencher

Jessica Mencher serves as a Senior Staff Attorney for the Disability Advocacy Project at Legal Services NYC since November 2017, specializing in advocating for clients with disabilities. Previously, Jessica was an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Perham Makabi, managing family court cases to secure Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and representing domestic violence survivors in immigration matters. Other experiences include internships at Jessica's Justice, the HIV Law Project, and the Youth Advocacy Clinic, where Jessica focused on sensitive legal issues such as domestic violence and abuse proceedings. Jessica holds a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
