Rakhil Tilyayeva

Rakhil Tilyayeva is a senior staff attorney at Legal Services NYC, where representation of tenants in civil court, state supreme court, and human rights commission cases is a primary focus. With a strong background in labor law, Rakhil has previously served as a law clerk at the Communications Workers of America and Virginia & Ambinder, LLP, conducting legal research and drafting memoranda related to union matters, wage and hour issues, and employment discrimination. Rakhil's experience also includes a legal externship with the New York State Attorney General's Civil Rights Bureau, a summer legal internship at Governor Cuomo's Tenant Protection Unit, and various roles in legal assistance and marketing at notable law firms. Rakhil holds a JD from Cardozo School of Law and a BA in Psychology from St. John's University.
