Sagar Sharma

Sagar Sharma has extensive experience in housing law and tenant rights, currently serving as Deputy Director and Supervising Attorney for the Housing Unit at Legal Services NYC since August 2018. Sharma's previous roles included Staff Attorney in the same unit, alongside an academic position as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at New York Law School from December 2021 to July 2024. Prior experience includes positions such as Clinical Intern at the Immigration and Non-Citizen Rights Clinic at CUNY Law and various legal internships focusing on tenant protections, welfare advocacy, and administrative hearings. Sagar Sharma holds a Juris Doctor degree from the City University of New York School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government and Pre Law from The City College of New York.
