Tuhfa B. is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in housing and criminal defense. Currently serving as a Law Graduate in the Housing Unit at Legal Services NYC since September 2023, Tuhfa previously gained extensive experience through various internships. These include roles at The Legal Aid Society, where Tuhfa worked as a Law Student Intern in the Criminal Defense Clinic and as a Legal Intern in the Law Reform Unit, Homeless Rights Project, from August 2022 to May 2023. Further experience at Neighborhood Defender Service as a Legal Intern in the Civil Defense Practice focused on Collateral Consequences, as well as a prior position at Legal Services NYC in the Housing Rights Clinic, illustrate Tuhfa's commitment to social justice and legal advocacy.
