Kathryn Mesa

Kathryn Mesa is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Tenants’ Rights Unit at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., where responsibilities include trial and appellate level litigation. Formerly, Kathryn led the Housing Stability Project at the same organization, focusing on advocacy and educational community trainings to protect the rights of low-income tenants. Previous experience includes a legal internship with Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, where Kathryn contributed to international advocacy related to human rights in Africa, a law clerk position at ThorpeLaw, P.A. performing legal research on workplace issues, and a legal internship with the ACLU of Florida. Kathryn's legal academic background includes a Doctor of Law from Florida State University College of Law, with additional studies at the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Florida and Florence University of the Arts.
