Maryann Flanigan

Maryann Flanigan is an experienced attorney with a focus on public interest law, currently serving on the executive management team at Legal Services of New Jersey since September 2012. Flanigan has provided legal counsel and representation for domestic violence victims in New Jersey Superior Court and previously held roles that included Chair of the Reintegration and Reentry Services at the Duke Law Innocence Project, where assistance was given to exonerated clients. Flanigan's background spans various legal and support roles, including positions at the D.C. Crime Victims' Resource Center and the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative, along with experience in fundraising and administrative tasks. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Duke University School of Law and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and Political Science from Howard University.
