Ashish Thomas

Ashish Thomas is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Supervisory Patent Examiner and previously as a Primary Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since June 2005. Additionally, Ashish serves as a Pro Bono Attorney for both Christian Legal Aid of the District of Columbia and Legal Services of Northern Virginia, roles held since December 2016 and August 2013, respectively. Ashish holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, obtained between 2007 and 2010, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, earned from 2000 to 2004.
