Gary Nelson

Gary Nelson has extensive work experience in the finance and legal operations field. Gary started their career at GE as a Financial Management Pro from August 1976 to February 1979. After that, they worked at Honeywell as a Finance Manager from March 1979 to September 1993. During their time at Honeywell, they gained experience in financial management.

In September 1993, Gary joined Medtronic as the VP of Legal Operations and Risk Management. Gary'sresponsibilities included legal financial management and reporting, process improvement, and information technology. Gary played a crucial role in implementing measures to improve transparency, efficiency, and cost reduction. Notably, they implemented an innovative preferred provider network and analytics, metrics, and alternative fee arrangements to better manage outside counsel spend. Gary held this position until November 2016.

Following their tenure at Medtronic, Gary became the Business Owner at Fram Consulting from December 2016 to January 2019.

Most recently, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at LegalMaps starting in April 2018.

Gary Nelson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, attending from 1974 to 1976.
