Olivier Moussa has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Olivier currently works as a Representative at the Unified Patent Court (UPC), a position they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded SHIFT AVOCATS in September 2013, where they served as an Attorney-at-law. In January 2022, they became the Vice-president of the Intellectual Property and New Technologies Committee at Barreau de Lyon. Additionally, in September 2016, Moussa co-founded LEGAL PILOT, an automated document generation platform. Before these ventures, they worked as an Attorney-at-law, partner in IP and litigation at Roche Avocats from September 2010 to August 2013. Prior to Roche Avocats, they had their own law firm, Cabinet Olivier Moussa, from January 2001 to September 2010. Olivier also worked as an Attorney-at-law at Véron & Associés from January 2001 to January 2007.

Olivier Moussa has a comprehensive education history. From 1995 to 2000, they attended Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), where they earned a degree in Business Law called DJCE. During the same period, Olivier pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a degree called Magistère Juriste d'affaires, focusing on an unspecified field of study. Additionally, in 1999-2000, Olivier attended the Centre Régional de Formation Professionnelle des Avocats de Lyon, where they received a Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat, further enhancing their legal knowledge and skills.
