Sarah Nunes possesses a strong background in education and customer service with extensive experience as a Private Tutor at Quality Tutoring Services since September 2019. Additionally, Sarah is actively involved in lab research on biomedical sciences as a Summer Intern at City of Hope since May 2019. Experience at Chapman University as an Athletics Office Assistant complements a role as a Summer Camp Counselor at Legarza Sports, demonstrating leadership and mentoring skills. A former sales associate at Nectar Clothing, Sarah excelled in customer service, merchandising, and social media engagement. Previous coaching experience was gained at San Francisco Juniors Volleyball Club, along with valuable support experience as a Teacher’s Aide at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Pre-Medicine from Chapman University and a high school diploma from St. Ignatius College Preparatory.

LEGARZA - Developing Youth Through Play Since 1989. Our philosophy and approach is what has set us apart from other camps since 1989, resulting in children have reduced anxiety and increased self-confidence, which leads to more fun and better performance. United by a shared dedication to our cause to provide youth with the knowledge and motivation they need to achieve their personal best in sport and life. Our core business is summer programs, with over 200,000 children attending our basketball, volleyball and all-sports camps. But that is not all we provide for the community: seasonal leagues, sport specific skills training, after school classes, physical education, athletic director services, and lunchtime wellness programs just to name a few. Possibilities are endless as we plan to continue to branch out into anything that fits into our mission of developing people. While business savvy and eager to grow we are committed to giving back. We have have generated over $5 Million for local schools and give away over $200,000 in scholarships each year. We promise to provide a quality service that everyone in the community can afford and benefit from. In our 27 year history we have never turned anyone away for financial reasons. We're a team of inspired, creative and fun professionals with diverse backgrounds. Quality of life is important to us... this is as far from a corporate pressure-cooker as you can imagine, but that doesn't mean we don't take our business seriously. While we have locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area our main office in San Carlos, CA.
