Maria Horning

Vice President for Leadership Development, Legatum Foundation at Legatum

Maria Horning began their work experience in 2011 as a Marketing Intern at HOPE International. Maria then worked as a Tax Intern at Radnor Tax Services from January 2012 to May 2012. From June 2012 to June 2013, they were a Fellow at Pittsburgh Fellows and a Business Analyst at Headwaters SC, where they analyzed client financials and created strategy presentations.

In 2013, Horning joined Geneva Global as a Senior Program Director, where they provided philanthropic consulting services and positively impacted over 101 million people through various projects. Maria left Geneva Global in March 2021 to work as an Advisor, guiding individuals, teams, and organizations in their leadership journeys towards positive social impact.

Finally, in January 2023, Horning joined Legatum as the Vice President for Leadership Development at the Legatum Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the purpose-driven global investment partnership based in Dubai. Maria'srole focuses on improving people's lives by increasing prosperity worldwide.

Maria Horning completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic Development at Eastern University from 2008 to 2012. Maria then pursued a Masters degree in Organizational Development and Leadership at St. Joseph's University from 2018 to 2020.
