Baoming Nie

Baoming(Ryan) Nie is an accomplished leader in the field of immuno-oncology and cell therapy, currently serving as Executive Director at Legend Biotech since July 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing CAR-T/NK R&D, processing development, and bioinformatics. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Scientist at Allogene Therapeutics, where efforts focused on developing off-the-shelf allogeneic CAR-T cells for cancer immunotherapy, and at Pfizer, which involved utilizing omics approaches to characterize CAR-T products. Previous positions at Ardelyx, Inc. and UCSF contributed to expertise in biomarker discovery, assay development, and high-throughput screening, while postdoctoral research at The Scripps Research Institute and the University of Illinois at Chicago provided a strong foundation in pluripotency reprogramming and neutrophil chemotaxis, respectively. Baoming(Ryan) Nie holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology/neuroscience from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Lanzhou University.
