Elaine Qian

Elaine Qian manages the Human Resources team globally. Ms. Qian oversees organizational and talent development, compensation and benefits, recruitment and staffing, and HR operations, working closely with the leadership team and all functions to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s overall strategic goals and drive the achievement of its objectives and mission.

Ms. Qian joined Legend Biotech in November 2019 as the Head of Human Resources for Legend China, where she assisted the CEO in building the business team from scratch, leading organizational establishment and transformation, establishing job grading, compensation, performance, and talent development systems.

Ms. Qian possesses over 15 years of experience in human resources management and team leadership. Prior to joining Legend Biotech, she served as the Global Head of Human Resources at GenScript Biotech.

Ms. Qian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Developmental Biology from Anhui Agricultural University and Nanjing Normal University, respectively.
