Hannelore Braet

Hannelore Braet is a skilled process engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology field. Currently serving as a CAR-T Senior Process Engineer - Validation at Legend Biotech since January 2023, Hannelore previously worked at Novartis from May 2020 to January 2023 as a Technical Transfer Lead and Technology Transfer Expert. Prior to that, Hannelore was a Life Science Consultant at ALTEN Belgium, initially joining Alcon as a Junior Validation Engineer in February 2018 and advancing to a Technology Transfer Engineer. Early research experience includes a role as a Voluntary Researcher at Nanobody Lab, Ghent University, and a Master Thesis Student at the Ghent Fertility and Stem Cell Team, focusing on the genomic stability of human embryonic stem cells. Hannelore holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Ghent University and completed secondary education at Emmaüsinstituut Aalter with a focus on Sciences and Mathematics. Laboratory skills encompass cell culture, whole generation sequencing, qPCR, and immunostaining.
