Maher Youssif

Maher Youssif has a strong background in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Maher is currently working at Legend Biotech as an Associate Director of Technical Support since March 2023. Previously, they held various roles at Novartis, starting as a Technical Training Specialist in the Cell & Gene Therapies Unit from April 2015 to August 2017. Maher then became a Senior Technical Trainer from August 2017 to November 2017 and later moved to the position of Cell Processing Team Manager from November 2017 to March 2021. Finally, at Novartis, they served as an Associate Director of Manufacturing in the Cell & Gene Therapies Unit from March 2021 to March 2023. Before their time at Novartis, Maher worked at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Senior Cell Manufacturing Technician in the Cell Therapy & Cell Engineering Facility from February 2013 to April 2015.

Maher Youssif has a Master's Degree in Microbiology from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Montclair State University. Maher also has additional certifications in BioPharma Innovation MBA from Rutgers Business School and Project Leadership from Cornell University.
