Rachel Mahoney

Rachel Mahoney has extensive experience in the biotechnology and research fields, currently serving as an Investigator at Legend Biotech since June 2021, where responsibilities include performing process unit operations and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Previously, Rachel worked as a Laboratory Technician at Bristol Myers Squibb, conducting biochemical assays and operating automation platforms. Earlier experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, focusing on probiotic microorganisms and contributing to research presentations. Additional roles include a Resident Assistant at Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth and a Peer Mentor and Academic Tutor at Middlesex County College. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Rutgers University and an Associate of Science in Biology from Middlesex College.
