Richard Visconti

Richard Visconti is an accomplished professional in the field of pharmacology and toxicology, currently serving as the Director of Preclinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Legend Biotech since September 2021. With extensive experience at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Principal Scientist since March 2017, Richard has focused on developing 3D in vitro organotypic models to investigate toxicity mechanisms. Previously, Richard contributed to Merck Research Laboratories and Merck from 1998 to 2015 in various roles, including Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Research Biologist. Richard began the career at Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Scientist from 2000 to 2009. Academically, Richard earned a PhD in Molecular Bioscience from Seton Hall University and a Master's degree in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology from William Paterson University, in addition to an undergraduate education at Rutgers University.
