Wendy Luo

Wendy Luo serves as the Sr. Director and Head of Preclinical Toxicology at Legend Biotech since March 2023, leading the toxicology function in cell therapy and overseeing nonclinical safety strategies. Prior to this role, Wendy held the position of Sr. Director and Head of Toxicology at Roivant Sciences from June 2021 to 2023, focusing on nonclinical regulatory strategies. Wendy’s earlier experiences include serving as Associate Director of Toxicology at PTC Therapeutics, where responsibilities encompassed candidate selection and regulatory submissions, and as Associate Director/Principal Toxicologist at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Previous roles also include impactful positions at Wyeth, FMC Corporation, MDS Pharma Services, L'Oréal, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Northeastern University, primarily in toxicology and pharmacology. Wendy holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Mississippi.
