Yorick Janssens

Yorick Janssens is a professional with extensive experience in the biomedical field, currently serving as the CAR-T Operations Technical Lead Clean Room at Legend Biotech since June 2023. Prior to this role, Yorick acted as Project Manager at CEVAC, Ghent University, and Ghent University Hospital from October 2020 to June 2023, overseeing lab activities for multiple vaccine clinical trials and managing stakeholder communication. Yorick also completed a PhD at Ghent University between September 2015 and September 2020, focusing on the influence of bacterial quorum sensing peptides in the brain, and gained proficiency in various techniques such as cell culture and pharmaceutical analysis. Yorick holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Immunology from Ghent University, obtained in 2015.
