Sam Smith

Sam Smith serves as the Executive Vice President and President of Furniture, Flooring, & Textiles as well as President of Specialized Segments at Leggett & Platt since April 2014, leading operational and P&L responsibilities across various business units. Previous roles include Senior Vice President and President of the Furniture, Flooring, & Textiles Segment, and operational leadership in multiple divisions including Matrex and Seating & Distribution. Sam Smith has also served as Chief Operating Officer at EMS Management & Consulting, President and Owner of Bright Vista, Inc., and held various leadership positions at Unifi, Inc. A graduate of Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Sam Smith has extensive experience in manufacturing, operations, and business development across diverse industries.
