Publications And Collections Lead at Legislative Assembly of British Columbia

Daniel Powell currently serves as the Publications and Collections Lead and previously held the position of Publishing Systems Analyst at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia since February 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Innovation Research Specialist at BC Public Service, Digital Systems Strategist at Dogwood BC, and Early Stage Researcher (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow) at the Department of Digital Humanities. Daniel's research expertise is further demonstrated through a role as a researcher at the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab and as a Graduate Research Assistant and Instructor at the University of Victoria, where Daniel also completed a Ph.D. in Digital Humanities. Additional experience includes positions in education and editorial support, complemented by an extensive educational background in English from the College of Charleston and the University of Victoria.
