Dana Brhelova, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 when they founded the startup Tripitoo, an online network of local travel assistants. In 2014, they began working as a Researcher for Cyberteam at Masaryk University, researching the impact of information and communication technologies on individuals and society. Dana also Co-authored a whitepaper for Irrational Labs entitled "Hacking Habits for product designers. When & why to build them and how to do it for good." That same year, they began lecturing at Masaryk University on "The decision making and irrationality in everyday life." In 2015, they worked as a User Experience Researcher for GoodData and was appointed Chief Research Officer at Digimind Research Institute. In 2016, they began working for Legito as a Product Experience Researcher and for Kiwi.com as a User Experience Research Team Lead, Senior User Experience Researcher, Empathy Team Manager, and User Experience Researcher. In 2019, they joined TourRadar as a Senior User Experience Researcher.

Dana Brhelova, Ph.D. completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Cognitive Psychology from Masaryk University Brno in 2018. Dana also obtained a Master of Arts in Cognitive Psychology from the same university in 2011. In 2010, they completed their Diploma Thesis in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Groningen. Additionally, they are currently taking courses in Behavioral Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Dana has also obtained various certifications from The Interaction Design Foundation, Coursera, and Marc Stickdorn, Adam Lawrence, Markus Hormess.
