Manny Merino

Manny Merino has been working in the software engineering industry since 1993. Manny started their career as an Information Systems Administrator at CTS Language Link, where they maintained and upgraded a custom-coded accounting-based multi-user Microsoft Access 2.0 application. In 1996, they joined Para/Matrix Solutions, Inc., where they were one of two Microsoft Visual Basic/Access developers. Manny then moved to TeamVision Corporation in 1999 as a Senior Developer - Integration Services, where they were hired as a VB/VBA expert and wrote custom VBA to integrate third-party applications into their software. In 2003, they became a Lead Systems Developer at thyssenkrupp Aerospace NA / TMX Aerospace, where they were responsible for migrating back-end databases from Microsoft Access to SQL Server 2005, using T-SQL to create and maintain views and stored procedures, and using DTS/SSIS for moving data between systems. In 2007, they joined Beyondsoft as a Senior Solutions Architect and was part of a hand-selected, specialized team of senior developers focused on building company IP in the area of machine learning and predictive analytics. Manny was chosen for their full stack web development experience and was in charge of designing and building the web architecture and framework of their SaaS solution using modern web technologies. Finally, in 2018, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Legwork.
