Michael W. Hawkins

Michael W. Hawkins, PMP, CISSP, is a seasoned leader in the cybersecurity field, currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Netizen Corporation, a Veteran Owned business recognized as the fastest growing cybersecurity company in the nation in 2019 and 2020. In addition to corporate leadership, Michael contributes as an Adjunct Professor at Lehigh Carbon Community College, teaching courses in cybersecurity and information technology. Previous roles include Program Manager and Subject Matter Expert for Engineering Services Network, where leadership involved overseeing significant healthcare software projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and various positions within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including Acting Deputy Chief Information Officer. Michael's military background includes service in the U.S. Army, where roles spanned from Information Systems Security Officer to Military Police. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
