Cheryl Ann Matherly

VP & Vice Provost, International Affairs at Lehigh University

Cheryl Matherly serves as the Vice President and Vice Provost for International Affairs at Lehigh University, a position held since April 2016, where strategic leadership is provided for the Office of International Affairs and its various programs. Concurrently, Cheryl advises institutions in the ACE Internationalization Laboratory starting from August 2019. Prior to current roles, Cheryl held multiple positions at The University of Tulsa, including Vice Provost for Global Education and Applied Assistant Professor in Educational Studies. Cheryl's earlier experience includes roles at Rice University, such as Assistant Dean of Students for Career and International Education. Educational credentials include an EdD in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies from the University of Houston, an MS from Indiana University Bloomington, and a BA from The University of New Mexico.
